Granny and Freyr travel together all over Akranes which is a small town close to Reykjavík and you can easily see it on the other side of the bay. They get into all kinds of adventures and Granny has a lot of exciting things to tell her little one.

Freyr listens to stories about giantesses, accidents at sea, Langisandur, Akrafjall and Elínarhöfði.

The book is beautifully illustrated by Bjarni Þór Bjarnason who is an artist in Akranes.
