Höfundar: Emily Lethbridge., Hár
The poem Hávamál is preserved in a 13th-century manuscript known as the Codex Regius of the Poetic Edda. It contains timeless wisdom and practical advice for living and proper conduct. Together with Völuspá, Hávamál is one of the most famous and often quoted of all Eddic poems, and a pillar of medieval Icelandic culture.
Hávamál is presented in a new translation by scholar Emily Lethbridge. The Icelandic text is printed alongside the English for reference, and an introduction provides contextual information.
